We are children of the late-80's/early-90's and grew up with a deep love for exactly the pop superstars you would imagine: Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Mel also really loved Barry Manilow and El really loved Neil Diamond, but we blame that on our parents influence and don't think this should be held against us.

El: Did you see The Superbowl last night?

Mel: If by "The Superbowl" you mean "Madonna's halftime show on my DVR about twenty minutes ago" then yes.

Mel: We need something to entice people to come to the September 15th edition of Our Time of the Month.
El: Besides the fact that we didn't have an August show because we were performing on a gay cruise?
Mel: Yes.
El: Besides the fact that there won't be an October show because we will be taking Our Time of the Month to Los Angeles?
Mel: Yes.
