We had a baby.

We are so excited to share that we had 

our very first Mel & El baby!

Colin Mathew Kinard

Born 2/21/12

9 pounds, 7 ounces

22 1/4 inches long

Colin is working on his smile.

We will yap. You may giggle.

We miss you, people. And since we consider this to be a healthy and symbiotic relationship, we like to imagine you also miss us. With that in mind, we were strolling through our Couch Clips and thought we would re-share a few of our favorites with you.

 There were hours spent scrutinizing the splatter paint background. That's love.

We are children of the late-80's/early-90's and grew up with a deep love for exactly the pop superstars you would imagine: Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Mel also really loved Barry Manilow and El really loved Neil Diamond, but we blame that on our parents influence and don't think this should be held against us.

Mell: Yeah, El?

El: Did you see The Superbowl last night?

Mel: If by "The Superbowl" you mean "Madonna's halftime show on my DVR about twenty minutes ago" then yes.
